Well-established Hospitalist program seeking additional Hospitalists for 12 hour shifts and 7 on/7 off schedule. Program started 6 years ago with a single physician (who is still there) and has grown with the hospital. Our census currently varies from 15-35, with coverage provided by a combination of physicians and mid-levels.
Our not-for-profit, <100 bed hospital has won numerous state and national awards in recent years for excellence patient care clinical outcomes. renovations expansions (20-bed emergency department>
Located in southeast MS, our friendly, warm atmosphere is typical of Southern Hospitality. The abundance of activities that lie within reach will surprise almost everyone who visits. Housing options include country club, upscale developments, historical and downtown loft living. Our community is 1 hour from Jackson, and only 2 hours to the coast or New Orleans.
We welcome Internists or Family Physicians, but do prefer candidates with recent training or substantial recent inpatient experience. Our hospital employment provides very competitive compensation and excellent benefits.
