The G. V. (Sonny) Montgomery Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) in
Jackson is recruiting for one exceptional clinical internist to provide
inpatient, on-site coverage for our internal medicine ward services and consult
services and outpatient internal medicine consultative services.
Applicants must be board eligible/certified in internal medicine, hold an
unrestricted medical license, and be eligible to hold a faculty appointment
with the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, Departme! nt of
Medicine. Duties may include attending on teaching a! nd/or non-teaching
inpatient services that provide care for medical patients and selected surgical
subspecialty patients (orthopedics) in addition to inpatient/outpatient medical
consultation services. Other duties may be assigned by the Chief of
Medical Service.
