Required Qualifications for Position
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business, IT or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operational Finance, or another related function
- Strong quantitative and analytics skills; ability to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Intermediate level knowledge of Tableau, Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
Responsibilities:
- In order to achieve our key business objectives in the most efficient and effective manner we need to augment our current staff to ensure we perform while we transform. The Supply Chain team is looking for skilled and dedicated partners that embrace diversity, equity and inclusion and where all employees are energized and driven to care for our customers and want to grow together. Consultant shall primarily utilize virtual methods to communicate, send and receive necessary data and complete assigned tasks. Upon mutual agreement by Owner and Consultant, we will consider in person meetings if deemed to be the most effective and efficient method to progress certain deliverables. The Supplier Diversity role will ensure that targets for the supply base diversity are defined and prioritized, and plans are developed and executed effectively. This position will consistently engage with stakeholders (including Diversity & Inclusion), to ensure alignment to enterprise-wide initiatives and will play an integral part in building and maintaining supplier efforts and driving creative supplier diversity strategies. Additional duties include but are not limited to:
- Identifies relevant internal policies, diversity targets, customer requirements, and/or regulatory requirements for supplier diversity
- Defines and advocates for corresponding supplier diversity objectives and targets for the business, gaining alignment and buy-in from key stakeholders and leadership
- Regularly evaluates the supplier base for diverse supplier representation in accordance with company goals
- Determines and executes necessary remediation actions, such as research to broaden the supplier base, active outreach to diverse suppliers, and/or incorporation of diversity into the contract award scoring process
- Collaborates with other Supply Chain team members, business partners, and functions to implement changes and to communicate the process
- Research and identification of qualified, diverse supplier candidates in accordance with the Supplier Diversity program requirements
- Recommend solutions, provide analysis, and consolidate platforms to improve integration and to streamline processes in accordance with company policies
- Oversee the Supplier Diversity communications program and provide interface for all supplier contacts with respect to certification and registration
- Provide quantitative and analytical support with the ability to provide data-driven insights and recommendations utilizing an intermediate level knowledge of Tableau, Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint

Salary: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
