The G. V. (Sonny) Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medica! l Center (VAMC) in Jackson, MS is recruiting for the following positions on our Inpatient General Medicine and Hospitalist Service:
- One (1) exceptional clinical internist to provide inpatient, on-site coverage for our internal medicine inpatient services
- Two (2) exceptional clinical internists to provide on-site hospitalist coverage on internal medicine inpatient services during nights and weekends (Nocturnalist)
Applicants must be board eligible / certified in internal medicine and be eligible to hold a faculty appointment with the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, Department of Medicine. Duties may include attending on teaching and/or non-teaching inpatient services that provide care for medical patients and selected surgical subspecialty patients (orthopedics). Other duties may be determined by the Chief of Medical Service. Participat! ion in clinical research is encouraged.
