Title: Business Systems Manager

Location: New York, NY


Bright Power seeks an experienced Business Systems Manager to join Bright Power's Technology team's IT division. This role will directly assist the VP of IT in effectively lead a to develop and maintain Bright Power's core business systems architecture and capabilities. This role is critical to the success of Bright Power's ongoing technology operations and scalability.


The Role

  • Manage and innovate on the company’s core business systems (including, but not limited to Salesforce and Quickbooks Online) making sure they are reliable and operational at all times
  • Assist with CRM migrations and integrations related to Salesforce (experience with DocuSign, Conga Composer, or Zapier is a plus)
  • Lead the Business Systems Development Team through the successful discovery, planning, development, testing, delivery, and post-project reviews of all CRM and ERP-related projects
  • Oversee business system incidents and requests ensuring that they are received and resolved promptly
  • Collaborate with business leadership to align team efforts around strategic initiatives and company priorities
  • Maintain regular open, transparent communication around project deliverables, budget, and scope amongst project teams, departments, and business stakeholders
  • Experience with an Agile project and operations team, leading regular standup meetings, retrospectives, sprint reviews, and other scheduled project activities
  • Coach and educate both peers and business partners on the best practices around CRM and ERP systems
  • Support the IT Director in streamlining IT operations standards, tools, and templates
  • Perform regular quality control on business systems deliverables
  • Other tasks as assigned


Qualifications

  • Education: Degree, or pursuing a degree, in IT, Software, Business Intelligence, Project Management, or other relevant academic programs
  • 3+ years of proven experience working as a Salesforce Administrator, Developer, or Scrum Master on technology teams
  • Technically proficient in Salesforce.com, Integrations technologies, Atlassian Jira Software, cloud (SaaS) technologies, CRM design and concepts, IT infrastructure systems, and ERP systems
  • Experience with managing a technical team of internal employees and external consultants
  • Exhibit excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong work ethic and able to multi-task and work independently
  • Critical thinking and problems solving abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven track record in working as part of a team to maintain and improve internal technology systems
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
  • Interest in learning about buildings, construction, and its relation to energy and environmental issues.
