We have an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Integrated Planning & Scheduling (IP&S) Specialist to join our team in Long Beach, Ca. In this role, you’ll support programs for Commercial Modification, a division within Boeing Global Services (BGS), which support modification of commercial aircrafts across the globe.

We are seeking a motivated, career-driven professional to support the program and portfolio scheduling initiatives in a growing, transformational product area. As an IP&S team member you will develop proposal plans and schedules, baseline execution schedules, maintain the in-work schedules, perform critical path analysis and what-if planning, and support the delivery of program deliverables.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support the program IMS and working with the IP&S team in developing, integrating, and maintaining the IMS reporting to the Program Management team
  • Work closely with the Integrated Product Line Managers, the IP&S team, Engineering, Supply Chain and Project
  • Managers to ensure alignment and integration of the IMS with other key program plans and tools
  • Support the integration of supplier management and schedules into the IMS to ensure the team is operating to the same rhythm and priorities for delivery of Kits
  • Model driving program execution through quick turn generation of prospective schedule performance analyses, recovery/alternate scenario planning, and improved schedule visibility/visualization
  • Develops and uses collaborative relationships within and outside the organization to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals. Builds rapport and trust among stakeholders and leverages the organization's dynamics to promote program goals

This position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at the listed location option. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in managing integrated schedules or projects
  • 3+ years of experience using integrated scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan Professional, Primavera, etc.
  • 3+ experience utilizing scheduling systems and tools to create and maintain schedules
  • Bachelor's degree or higher


Preferred Qualifications
(Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of experience leading or managing complex projects
  • 5+ years of experience using integrated scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan Professional, Primavera, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing complex integrated schedules or projects across a portfolio
  • 5+ experience utilizing scheduling systems and tools to create and maintain schedules
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a business or technical field

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor’s) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master’s and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience.)

Summary pay range: 93,500 – 126,500
