What You’ll Do
The casting associate producer role requires someone who specializes in casting outreach - ensuring that we have options for the casting director to choose their cast for each of our episodes, no matter the topic.
We're looking for an expert in finding those who inhabit hard-to-reach niches of culture and society who make our content stand out. This role is for someone who is virtually fearless and not afraid to send a DM or cold call someone on the spot immediately. They regularly reach out to micro-influencers, lower-level talent / agents + managers to help expand viewership to our content.
- Collaborate with Casting Director on creative strategy regarding cast
- Research, schedule and complete video casting calls (10-15min)
- Learn company casting systems (databases, forms, project managing software);
- Attend company meetings, operations, and bonding events
- Represent Jubilee's values
Who You Are
- Passionate about a career in casting
- Confident in handling sensitive subjects. Our missions invites conversations with people from all walks of life. Applicants should be able to put personal views aside and see humanity in everyone.
- Excellent investigator and skilled at outreach (cold call, finding and contacting unique individuals with specific stories and backgrounds)
- Proficient in google spreadsheets, zoom, dropbox (Knowledge of Airtable, Asana is a +)
- Strong emotional IQ and ability to befriend strangers and very different groups of people
- Keen interest and understanding of digital media space, trends, behaviors, etc
- Associates will be expected to supply their own computers
