About the Career Opportunity

Contact Center Representatives play a critical role in our member experience by providing a variety of service functions for our members and by working with members to best identify additional financial solutions that help to meet the member’s specific needs. Contact Center Representatives will also assist non-members in establishing their membership and setting up their accounts.

Major responsibilities include assisting 100+ callers via phone per day providing service-related information to potential and existing members concerning Credit Union’s products, services and policies. Call examples include: digital banking password reset, eligibility for membership, account information, interest and dividend rates, branch locations and contact information. Must consistently authenticates members following established authentication policies and procedures and identify and escalate potential situations involving fraud. Also responsible for proactively speaking with members regarding their needs for additional financial solutions and asking probing questions to understand how we may best help our members.

Position Requirements

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of one year experience working in a financial institution required. Previous contact center experience helpful. Must have experience selling and cross-selling products or services and must have excellent member service skills to include strong verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to demonstrate patience and professionalism in dealing with members.

Schedule

Contact Center Representatives must be able to work a 40 hour a week variable schedule with hours between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. EST Monday through Friday and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and they are required to attend department meetings and training outside of normally scheduled hours. Advanced notice will be provided. Schedules are determined based on business needs. A guaranteed schedule or set days off are not available.
