ROLE SUMMARY


What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?


We are looking for a person that:


  • Has solid functional knowledge in Credit and Collection areas, including Disputes Management, Risk Management and FSCM Approval Matrix solution
  • Has the ability to capture the end to end structure of a process and identify any potential bottlenecks in order to solve them
  • Can strongly understand the cross-departmental impact;
  • Has a problem-solving attitude and is detailed oriented;
  • Has positive thinking attitude and able to perform in a high-pressure environment;
  • Is customer oriented and has the ability to communicate at all levels ;
  • Can drive focus and prioritize actions and initiatives to be taken both at local and global level using the available analysis


What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?


  • Work closely with the team to broaden their process understanding
  • Maintain a close relationship with the End Markets / customers / other stakeholders and proactively identify/solve any potential issues
  • Work closely with other functions in GBS
  • Revisit current activities / ways of workings / GOM processes and identify potential improvement or alignment areas


ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Acts as a single point of contact for the teams in terms of process knowledge
  • Provides support for the management team in terms of process automation and improvement initiatives for Credit and Collection.
  • Support Knowledge Management framework in terms of procedures update and Onboarding of new joiners
  • Recommends areas to strengthen business controls
  • Support the activities in scope for migration to be moved into GBS, in line with the migration framework and plan (perform process gap analysis and provide resolutions)
  • Displays a deep level of understanding of the business describing issues and potential opportunities
  • Easily builds networks and rapport with diverse groups and collaborates cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrates resourcefulness by exploring a range of alternatives and options to resolve problems.
  • Uses SAP confidently in the workplace, demonstrating the ability to run reports from different areas of SAP
  • Demonstrates a high level of personal integrity and understands an organization’s key strengths and weaknesses and aligns personal goals with the organization’s objectives
  • Seeks out new approaches and ideas for continuous improvement.


EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL


Experience Required


  • Previous experience in OTC – Credit and Collections area
  • Solid knowledge of the Order to Cash end to end processes and Global Operating Model


Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required


  • SAP, HPQC knowledge
  • Experienced user of Microsoft suite of applications (including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc)
  • Detailed understanding of the cross-departmental impact
  • Displays a thorough understanding of the relationship between business processes, data and SAP, developing expertise in particular aspects of SAP and underlying business process
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (e.g. tact/diplomacy, persuasion, cooperation)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to assess and promptly resolve problems; result-oriented mindset
  • Organized personality with attention to details, able to work simultaneously on different projects, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Ability to work with management to solve business issues and support process improvement initiatives.


Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required


  • Finance/ IT/ Accounting Bachelor’s Degree;
  • English (reading, spoken and written) fluent level
