Introduction

Make a difference for national security by joining a team of dedicated IT professionals who will sustain, modernize and transform the enterprise IT capabilities for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). The National Security & Space Sector of SAIC is seeking a Project Scheduler Senior to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA.

SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation’s information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies.

Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).

Job Description

  • Work closely with the project team to develop, maintain and manage the project schedule across multiple projects; to include development, engineering, construction, supply chain, regulatory and finance-related activities
  • Report on project statuses, trends, forecasts, project contingency, and schedule risks and opportunities
  • Regularly review critical path, cost loading, schedule content, use of relationships and lag, constraints and milestones
  • Updating the schedule and comparing the actual work performed against the baseline program
  • Provide schedule analysis and metrics to key stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Defining an appropriate Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in line with the adopted project development and project delivery strategy
  • Participate in the development of standards to support the functional groups in successful delivery of projects
  • Identifying activities impacting the schedule's critical path and facilitating the identification of opportunities to accelerate completion of the work, or measures to avoid potential delays

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS with nine (10) or more years experience in project coordination
  • Secret clearance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project and Integrated Master Schedule
  • Experience in project planning/scheduling
  • An understanding of critical path methodology to ensure, and communicate, timely delivery of milestone tasks


Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.


Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
