Job Description:

HBS Systems is seeking a QA Analyst to join our team. The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst will develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. QA Analyst will monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.

Location: This is a fully remote position.

Salary: $60,000.00 per year

Job Duties:

  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Responsible for conducting manual and possibly, automated tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs.
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  • Collaborate with developers and managers to identify system requirements
  • Monitor debugging process results
  • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
  • Track quality assurance metrics
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related
  • 3-5 years experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • 3+ years experience with Selenium preferred
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Candidate must not require HBS to commence ("sponsor") an immigration case to employ candidate (H-1B or other employment-based immigration cases)
